In 2017 Noble Foods, Europe’s leading egg supplier, and arguably the first to launch a true egg brand - The Happy Egg co. - wanted to add to their growing portfolio of brands with a even more premium offering, ‘speciality eggs’ or eggs that would impress.
Heritage Breeds literally put the hens first and sought to educate the nation - choosing the perfect egg for the perfect dish or occasion really did make a difference.
At Heritage Breeds we believe that the traditions of better breeding and the highest hen welfare make for impeccable quality eggs. Our crest is our word that each and every egg comes from our well cared for, contented special breed birds. These stunning brown, fresh British farm eggs are laid bysmaller flocks, free to roam on grassy pastures, and fed on wholesome vegetarian diets.
